Professor Shyh-dye Lee assumed the role of expert reviewer for a panel reviewing scripts of exercise videos for the prevention of dementia, in accordance with a 2016 government-led initiative on developing exercises for elderly people at various levels of mobility.

Designed questions for the Objective Structured Clinical Examination (OSCE) of national examinations for medical practitioners, and assigned faculty to serve on examination committees to decide the focus of each year’s examinations and to create the actual questions.
