In working with Duke University, FJCU initiated an interdisciplinary collaboration between the School of Medicine, the Department of Respiratory Therapy, the Department of Public Health, and the Biomedical Science Mass Data Analysis Master’s Program to research the effects of PM2.5 on human health, spurring global focus on the issue of air pollution.
