FJCU actively recruits passionate teachers with innovative thinking so as to foster interdisciplinary and local links, as well as to integrate sustainable development into their pedagogy. Moreover, we seek to develop diverse and innovative courses with the hope of fostering our students’ ability to be innovative as they venture across disciplines, to form links with the local community and culture, and to imbue the spirit of sustainable development in whatever they do, so that we can meet the SDGs to which we have committed regarding the education we offer.

In the past 3 years, FJCU courses that correspond with keywords from the SDGs and show a clear link to them have numbered more than 1,200.
