FJCU provides assistance to special education students in their studies and daily life 2020

Resource Room:
For special education students, FJCU organizes campus acclimatization activities and events for social interaction and engagement.

Activities held in 2019
1. In 2019, there were a total of 10 career counseling events for special education students, with 195 people attending.
2. “Resource Room Start of Term Meeting—A Meeting with the Dean of Student Affairs” was held twice; a total of 47 special education students attended and were able to have a discussion with the Dean.
3. There were two special education film events, with a total of 99 people participating. Pre- and post-screening discussions led by professional lecturers were held to provide students with an accurate understanding of illnesses, the goal of which was to correct any negative attitudes towards people who were afflicted by these illnesses and to eliminate the inequality created by physical disabilities and mental disorders.
4. The Resource Room organized an Outdoor Hands-on Experience event to help students develop their potential and have more interpersonal interactions through making handmade products and mutual cooperation. There were a total of 32 participants.
5. There were a total of 4 campus acclimatization activities and events for social interaction and engagement for special education students. Students developed their potential and creativity through board games, outdoor activities, and DIY crafts. A total of 117 people participated.
6. A total of 25 communion activities were held in the 2019 school year with 743 participants.
