FJCU holds ad hoc training courses for the general public on campus 2020

International Federation of Catholic Universities (FIUC)

FJCU aims to promote the sustainable and balanced development of society as well as unity, caring for the community, and serving the public, so as to improve interpersonal relationships and fulfill the spirit of benevolence. For this reason, all ad hoc and regular events held by academic or administrative units on campus are open to the general public. Some examples are included in the following:

Ad hoc events:
The Center for Continuing Education at FJCU offers preschool teacher training programs such as the New Taipei City Training Course for Kindergarten Director, as well as a 20-hour training course for caregivers of people who have dementia. In addition, the College of Fashion and Textiles offers knitting courses such as Computerized Flat Knitting for Beginners and Practical Applications for Circular Knitting and Knitwear Design. The Creative Design Center occasionally organizes summer programs for the general public with the aim of enhancing students’ professional skills and competitiveness.
