FJCU recognizes a number of student self-government groups 2020

International Federation of Catholic Universities (FIUC)

The Student Association is a recognized organization of the university. Not only are some of its representatives part of the University Assembly, the school’s highest governing body, but the university holds a Student Association election every school year to have its executives chosen by the entire school. The university has regulations on the formation of student clubs; students may apply to the school to create clubs that cater to their interests. Departments and colleges may also have their own student associations; these associations can participate in the operation of their respective departments and colleges as well as to express the opinions of the students they represent. Student organizations are recognized by the university as part of its implementation of an effective, accountable, and transparent system at all levels.
