FJCU Accessible facilities 2022

In order to improve the campus environment, the University applies for funding from the Ministry of Education’s Accessibility Improvement Project for Colleges and Universities every year to gradually improve the campus to help students with physical or mental disabilities to study without any obstacles.
In 2020, the University received a total of NT$4 million in grants (including NT$2,375,744 from the University’s own fundraising), and improved accessibility in the following facilities:

  1. Resource Room space optimization and improvement

  2. Construction of accessible elevators in the Tonelli Hall of the College of Communication

  3. Construction of accessible elevators between 1F and B1F at the Faculty of Arts building

  4. Renovation and addition of standard and accessible toilets on the third floor of the College of Liberal Arts building

  5. Renovation and addition of standard male and female toilets and accessible toilets on the first floor of the Department of Life Science building of the College of Science and Engineering

  6. Construction of additional accessible toilets at the School of Continuing Education building
