FJCU Public access to green spaces 2022

FJCU’s campus covers an area of 41 hectares. Green spaces account for 25% of the entire campus. Open spaces and green spaces include fields, squares, and courts. From Monday to Sunday, the general public may visit and use those spaces for free during opening hours as long as people do not interfere with classes. People wishing to hold an event in any of those spaces must submit an application and pay a venue rental fee.

On campus, there is the Feng Hwa Square; the Truth, Goodness, Beauty, and Sanctity Plaza; “Little Paris”; “Little London”; a “Vienna Forest” next to the College of Foreign Languages; a lotus pond in front of the College of Liberal Arts; the lawn located by various buildings, including the College of Liberal Arts, Cardinal Tien Memorial Building, Cardinal Yu Pin Administration Building, College of Human Ecology, Yi-Sheng Dormitory, and Benevolence Residence Hall; the cross-shaped corridors by Jen-yuan Restaurant; and the courtyards of Tonelli Hall and Loyola Hall. There are also basketball courts, tennis courts, soccer fields, and baseball fields.
