FJCU has an energy efficiency policy on new buildings 2020

International Federation of Catholic Universities (FIUC)

EEWH is a green building certification system. The acronym stands for “ecology, energy saving, waste reduction, and health” and they represent the four main indicators.
Completed: Fu Jen Catholic University Hospital, a hospital affiliated with the school and completed in 2016, received the EEWH gold level certification.
In progress: The College of Science and Engineering Building is currently in construction, and green building standards were included in its blueprint. The expected completion date is 2021, and upon completion, the relevant green building certification would be conferred by the competent authorities. It is hoped that such a certification would not only result in energy conservation, but also provide a healthy learning environment for both teachers and students.
Future plans: All future construction of new buildings on campus will work towards the obtainment of green building certification.
