Through service trips, university students are given a chance to walk into the lives of others, see every corner of Taiwan, and engage in social participation. The trips also spread the spirit and values of the Catholic Church, namely love, altruism, and righteousness. Since 2006, the following three slogans have served as reminders to student volunteers during their service as well as standards for them to uphold:
- May my existence be a blessing to others
- Save the best for those who need it the most
- Make time for others; teach by example
