Using the Orange Beneficence International Conference to Develop a Lasting Spirit of Benevolence 2019

International Federation of Catholic Universities (FIUC)

Adhering to the Catholic spirit of serving others, the color orange is used to symbolize human-oriented issues. Every year, the Orange Beneficence International Conference is held as a means of providing a platform for design research and practices based on beneficence. Experts, scholars and designers from different fields are invited the share the results from their research on beneficence. The original focus of the conference was on smart living for elderly people. However, in recent years, that focus has expanded to include design beneficence that spans different disciplines, such as medical care, education, information technology, fashion, and other areas of life.
