FJCU Provides Professional Advice on Legal Practice to National Government 2020

As a comprehensive university, each college employs professional faculty members with strong academic backgrounds and concern for social development. As a result, many faculty members have served as expert members of government committees or advisors to various levels of government, providing advice and suggestions regarding policy and practice with their professional knowledge. The following are some examples.
School of Law
Professor Ming-woei Chang serves as a member of the National Archives Selection Committee, the Examination Committee of the Examination Yuan, the Public Security Advisory Committee of the Criminal Investigation Bureau of the National Police Agency, the Conviction Determination Review Committee of the Taiwan High Prosecutors Office, and the Election Monitoring Committee of the New Taipei City Election Commission. Based on his expertise in criminal law, he provides professional advice to all levels of government and judiciary agencies to promote development in the practice of criminal law.
Associate Professor Chiu Chen is a member of the Taxpayers' Rights Protection Advisory Committee of the Ministry of Finance in 2020. She provides expert advice to the national government on fiscal and tax policies to promote their development.
