Promoting the Spirit of Social Enterprise Putting Social Innovation into Practice Through Crowdfunding and Agronomic Proposals 2019

Social enterprises seek a balance between profit, fairness, and public welfare. In recent years, it has become a new school of thought within business management schools. Fu Jen Catholic Universitys College of Management has a course named “Organizational Leadership and Social Innovation Practices”, which teaches students the spirit and practices of social enterprises. The course uses public welfare agronomy projects, team activities, crowdfunding, and other various social engagement activities to allow the students to put what they have learned into practice. In recent years, the faculty has been actively working towards social innovation and action, which is part of the course objective. They have worked with senior high schools in New Taipei City to help implement social enterprise innovation and marketing into high school curriculums.
