In view of the fact that agronomy and food education are playing an increasingly important role in general education, FJCU holds a farmers market in Feng-Hua Square every semester, providing a platform for small local farms to promote themselves and their own products. The market was founded on the concepts of “Ethically-certified; Truth, Goodness, Beauty, Sanctity; Organic; Interdependence”. It is hoped that through this platform, students, teachers, and even people who live in Xinzhuang can have a better understanding of the farmers who live in Taiwan and the philosophy they live by. This will help to spread agricultural education and let people fall in love even more with this land they live on.
