All sources of food and supplies sold in restaurants at FJCU can be traced. 2019

Since 2015, restaurants at FJCU have been required to submit information regarding their products, supplies, additives, and suppliers to the Campus Food Ingredients Registration website every day, making it possible for the public to see if unethically sourced products have been used, and, if so, request the supplier to make changes or to remove the products from the shelves. When signing contracts with restaurant owners, FJCU will ask them to comply with FJCUs and governmental regulations. To look after the health of our students and teachers, restaurants and convenience stores on campus do not sell alcoholic beverages or cigarettes. Drinks with aluminum foil packaging are not sold in the convenience stores and vending machines at FJCU, either. Furthermore, since 2002, in compliance with government policy, only reusable cutlery is used in restaurants at FJCU; no disposable food containers or plastic bags are provided for takeout food.
