FJCU Disability accommodation policy 2021

International Federation of Catholic Universities (FIUC)

The University has established regulations to ensure proper accommodation and a friendly living environment for people with physical or mental disabilities; the specific details are as follows:

  1. Article 9 of FJCU’s Regulations on Dormitory Management states that students with disabilities are prioritized first when assigning living spaces on campus.

  2. Furthermore, for students who are physically disabled, two rooms have been converted into a single accessible room (costing NTD$450,000), and improvements have continued to be made to the room, including the addition of a personal bathroom, shower trolley, and electric bed (costing NTD$30,000).
  3. A special place has been allocated for visually impaired students to hang their laundry, which shows the care and attention paid to students with disabilities.

FJCU’s Regulations on Dormitory Management, established in 2010, revised in 2020.
