FJCU Access to university underrepresented groups recruit 2021

The University has implemented a recruitment policy for underrepresented students, staff and teachers in accordance with Taiwan’s national regulations. The implementation is as follows:
Office of Human Resources:
The University has requested the relevant units to recruit staff with physical or mental disabilities in equal proportion to the number of staff they employ. In the 2019 academic year, 20 teachers and staff with physical or mental disabilities were employed, as well as two teachers and seven staff members of indigenous status.

Resource Room:
The Resource Room employs students with disabilities each semester. During the academic years of 2018 and 2019, 34 and 30 students were employed respectively. The purpose is to build up the employability, teamwork skills, basic software skills, and interview experience of those students so that they can successfully enter the workforce after graduation.
