FJCU Non-discriminatory admissions policy 2021

Fu Jen Catholic University is a private university; tuition is not derived from government subsidies, and it has adopted a low tuition policy; successful enrollment is not dependent on a student’s financial background, social status, or educational opportunities. However, in order to help indigenous people, residents of remote islands, and students with physical or mental disabilities, additional places are being provided to reduce their socio-economic disabilities and emphasize positive discrimination. In the 2019 academic year, 618 additional places have been provided; the specific details are as follows:

  1. Places for indigenous students: 494

  2. Places for students from outlying islands: 9

  3. Places in the indigenous students’ program in the Department of Financial and Economic Law: 36

  4. Places for students with disabilities: 79
