At FJCU, the recruitment of faculty and staff adheres to the principles of fairness and justice, and forced labor, slavery, human trafficking, and child labor is prohibited in accordance with Taiwan’s laws.

Taiwan and FJCU adheres to the prohibition of forced labor, slavery, human trafficking, and child labor.

According to Article 5 of the Labor Standards Act, no employer shall, by force, coercion, detention, or other illegal means, compel a worker to perform work.
According to Article 45 of the same act, no employer shall employ any person under the age of fifteen, which constitutes child labor.

According to Article 6 of the Human Trafficking Prevention Act, governments and organizations shall actively conduct activities related to human trafficking prevention, and shall cooperate with international governmental bodies or non-governmental organizations to eradicate human trafficking.
