FJCU’s main partner on this project is the TPE Food Bank, which is run by the Shing Yi Fund. The Xinzhuang branch officially opened on September 19, 2020. FJCU’s campus personnel, along with the food bank, work together to provide comprehensive welfare services to low and lower-middle income families in the Xinzhuang area. The program also receives necessary human resources through FJCU’s service learning courses (such as “Introduction to University” and “Industrial Economics”) and required courses at the Department of Social Work, so as to ensure the most comprehensive care to low and lower-middle income residents in Xinzhuang.
